Feeding Frenzy wish List
Things I miss.
It’s an emotional rollercoaster every day being a foreign person abroad; many Russian people cannot understand why a foreigner would want to be here in the first place…
I have been in Russia long enough not to crave the things I used to stock up on every time I returned to England, and now more imported foreign foods are available to buy here so the cravings are diminishing.
But there are some things that money can’t buy here……………..
On The Podium:

The Top Ten Food Products I miss
Marmite
Salt & Vinegar Crisps
Lucozade
Branston Pickle (that one’s for you D)
English Sausages
Decent Bacon
Oxo or Bisto Gravy Granules
HP Sauce
A Decent Curry
A Roast Dinner
All of these products led to a normal existence in England. However, here, I am afraid in Moscow you have got no chance…!!

And he's the only man in Moscow to have a store of 'crunchies' hidden in his cupboard.. (D) and can eat chocolate one piece at a time (weekly), which I think is absolutely sick! Chocolate should be noshed absolute, swallowed, and digested within 30 seconds of purchase... but that's what happens to expats.. you savour the sweet tastes of home..
I'd like to add 'battered fish and mushy peas' to any wish list and I'd shag a monkey for a decent chinese sweet and sour take away...

I'll be in London on the 27th. Only for one day unfortunately, but I will become the Marmite King..... I am going to absolutely terrorise the supermarkets.. can't wait.
